Job Description (Briefly describe job duties, required skills, and qualifications.) The Landscape Lead Technician is responsible for working with the Project Foreman to install and carry out softscaping and hardscaping projects on an ongoing basis, identifying needs on a jobsite (Garden Bed Installation, Planting/Horticulture, Grading, Sod, Seeding/Overseeding, Artificial Turf,, Drainage, Pavers/Slabs, Retaining/Freestanding Wall, Boulder Wall, Landscape Steps, Natural Stone/Paver Edging, Fire Pit), understanding and delegating tasks to crew members when necessary, communicating expectations thoroughly, meeting with Project Foreman to review jobsite plans, directing the progress of the project in absence of the Project Foreman, as well as ensuring that a quality job is performed in an effective and professional manner. In-office training and education is provided. This position is applicable in both residential and commercial settings. Out of town travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a similar field.
Certification in landscaping, horticulture, or a related field (preferred).
Familiarity with both residential and commercial landscaping practices.
Proficiency in using landscaping tools and equipment, such as excavators, skid steers, tampers, chop saws, etc...
Ability to install hardscaping features (e.g., pavers, retaining walls, or walkways) and softscaping elements.
Experience supervising, training, and motivating landscaping teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Attention to detail to ensure high-quality work and adherence to specifications.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, standing, kneeling, or bending for extended periods.
Capacity to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Compensation (Optional but encouraged - Hourly rate, salary range, or "DOE" (Depends on Experience)) Job Type: 
Full-time (Seasonal) 40-50 hours/week

$23/hour
