The Arrowhead Builders Association has the following scholarships available:
The Rachel Manley College Scholarship Valued at $1000.00 Available to members family members only.
The Rachel Manley Trade-school Scholarship Valued at $500.00 Available to anyone who is entering their second year of residential building trades or a related field.
The DuWayne Lenius Scholarship Valued at $250.00 Available to anyone entering a residential building trade school or related field, from a high school.
The deadline for scholarship applications is May 2, 2008.

AND THE 2007 WINNERS ARE!! The Rachel Manley College Scholarship
Sonja L. Davidson Is the daughter of Ron and Barbara Davidson of Walsh Building Products. Sonja is pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Science with a Ecology Evolution/Behavior Major, and Col.of food, Agr and Nat Res Science with a Fisheries and Wildlife BS Major. Her ultimate goal would be to work for the National Geographic or the Discovery Channel in the future.
Alayne M. DeGonia Is the wife of Eric DeGonia of Innovative Electronic Interiors, in Duluth, Alayne is pursuing her Registered Nursing Certification and national certification from Lake Superior College. She will graduate in the spring of 2008. Her plan is to continue her education toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and ultimately receive a Masters Degree. Her ideal career in nursing will be working for a local healthcare organization, providing community healthcare services, and helping provide education for future nurses.
Kimberly Frings Is the daughter of Dave and Jody Frings of Advantage Systems Group. Kimberly is pursuing a degree to become a Nurse Anesthetist at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. She has already completed her masters in nursing and a degree in Spanish.
Clayton J. Rich Is the son of Jim and Joan Rich of the City of Hermantown and Two Harbors. Clayton is pursing a degree in Business Marketing major and a minor in Communicational Studies at Bethel College. His goal is to own his own business and look forward to any opportunities to give back and help with the community.
Rachel Sertich Is the daughter of Tim and Patty Sertich, Patty works at Arrowhead Supply. Rachel currently in her third year at University of MN Twin Cities, pursuing her Elementary Education degree and earning her Bachelor of Science degree. Her goal is becoming a successful teacher.
Brittany VanDyke Is the daughter of Margie Maloney and Ken Van Dyke of Van Dyke Home Inspections. Brittany is pursuing her degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. She has volunteered and worked on many community beneficial events, such as the Relay for Life, 4-H and a group for students called Buzz Group.
The Rachel Manley Trade-school Scholarship Rafe Redmond Is the son of Peter and Linda Redmond of Bryce MN. Rafe is a pursuing a degree in Architectural Technology in the Spring of 2008 and continuing on to a four-year institution of architecture. He worked for a general contractor in the Cook, MN area building two homes on Lake Vermillion which were valued at 400,000+.
